About this plugin

When working in the DeepSeek Harness Web GUI, key metrics like balance, token consumption, and cache hit rates are often buried in menus and hard to track continuously. dsh-usage solves this with a persistent floating dock that keeps balance, today/month usage, and cache hit stats visible at all times. The balance glows green when healthy and turns red only when out of credit, and the dock collapses into a compact balance pill when the sidebar folds.

Clicking the gear opens a two-column card-style detail panel with seven customizable widgets: balance details, today's usage, monthly usage, cache hit, DSH vs Claude Code channel share, a 14-day usage log, and a GitHub-style activity heatmap covering 28 days across six four-hour bands. Each widget can be pinned, collapsed, hidden, and drag-reordered, while accent color, background, and opacity are adjustable live.

The plugin aggregates data through secure loopback-only endpoints and refreshes in the background every five minutes. It supports balance providers such as DeepSeek, OpenRouter, Moonshot/Kimi, and Z.ai/GLM. Credentials are resolved server-side, no secrets appear in browser responses, and Claude Code logs are reduced to aggregate numbers only, so raw message text never leaves the machine.

If you need to monitor API costs continuously, analyze token usage patterns, or compare consumption across different channels within DeepSeek Harness, dsh-usage is a lightweight and secure client-side companion.
