When using the DeepSeek Harness (DSH) Web interface, if multiple workspaces are open at the same time, their titles may be identical. In this case, the title alone makes it difficult to tell which directory a workspace corresponds to. This plugin solves the identification problem by displaying the full directory path below the workspace title in the sidebar.

This is a DSH Web sidebar plugin. It inserts and displays the full directory path below each workspace title, with automatic line wrapping. The plugin is maintained by code4lala and is released under the MIT License.

Installation and Activation

Install the plugin:

dsh plugin --profile web add @code4lala/dsh-plugin-workspace-path

The plugin is auto-registered through the dsh.bundle declaration. To hot-load it into an already running Web service, edit the configuration file ~/.dsh/profiles/web/cordis.patch.yml and add the following content:

- insert:
    - id: workspace-path
      name: '@code4lala/dsh-plugin-workspace-path'

Core Features

  1. Path display: Displays the full directory path below each workspace title in the Web sidebar.
  2. Automatic wrapping: Automatically wraps paths when they are too long.
  3. Hot loading: Supports hot loading after configuration changes without restarting the service.
  4. Position matching: Matches workspaces by sidebar order to prevent confusion between same-named workspaces and their paths.
  5. Real-time synchronization: Path displays update in real time when workspaces are renamed or reordered.

Working Principles

The plugin reads the workspaces client service to obtain path information and injects a wkpath-subtitle element. To ensure that same-named workspaces are not confused, the plugin matches by sidebar order (position) rather than relying only on titles. It keeps the displayed information synchronized with the data through MutationObserver and the subscription mechanism.

Use Cases and Notes

This plugin is suitable for scenarios where you need to quickly locate a workspace directory using its full path. Before using it, confirm that the workspaces client service is enabled. The plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process, so review the source code before installation.

The plugin presents directory path information directly in the sidebar, reducing the cost of identifying workspaces in multi-workspace environments. For more details, see the GitHub repository or the SkillHub plugin catalog.
