Introduction

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is a plugin-based platform. In prompt engineering, entering colloquial requirements directly often leads to vague or poorly organized AI output. The co1ombiagly/prompt_optimize_dsh plugin is designed to solve this problem by converting colloquial requirements into structured prompts and automatically filling the session input box. The plugin reuses DSH’s built-in model routing, so users do not need to manage any API keys.

Core Features

One-Click Optimization

The plugin can convert colloquial, vague requirements into high-quality prompts with a clear structure and rigorous logic in one click.

Automatic Input Box Filling

The optimized result is automatically filled into the session input box below. Users can send or edit it directly without copying and pasting manually.

Context Anchoring

When a requirement contains ambiguous references (such as “this” or “it”), the plugin first asks key questions and supports merging the user’s answer with the original requirement.

Conversation Context Awareness

The default mode is auto. When the input contains referential words or is too short, the plugin automatically reads recent messages in the current conversation to help anchor the context. You can disable this feature through the contextAware setting to save tokens.

Iterative Rewriting

Use the /optimize revise command to make incremental changes based on the previous version without rewriting the entire prompt.

Pure Output Mode

Use the /optimize --pure command to output only the prompt itself, without any explanations.

Zero Key Management

The plugin does not store or upload any keys. All model calls use DSH’s existing ctx.llm routing.

Installation and Enablement

Prerequisites:
* A running DSH environment.
* Node.js ≥ 18 is available in the environment.

Basic Optimization

In any session input box, enter:

Iterative Modification

Modify an existing prompt:

Pure Output Mode

Get only the prompt text:

/optimize --pure 帮我把这段需求写成提示词……

Draft State Caution

Send /optimize in the input box on the home page before creating a session to prevent native harness commands from getting stuck in draft state.

Privacy and Security

  • No keys are stored or uploaded.
  • All model calls use DSH’s existing ctx.llm routing.
  • Specification documents and conversation content remain local.
  • The automatic input-filling scripts communicate only via same-origin /api/prompt-optimizer/* endpoints.
