When using DeepSeek Harness (DSH), the session list in the left sidebar can easily become crowded, and important sessions can be lost. The dsh-pin-session plugin solves this problem through a client-side annotation layer: it keeps important sessions under a top-level group and provides unread/read marking features without affecting backend logs or the database.
Plugin Positioning¶
This is a client-side plugin maintained by developer RaberShef and licensed under the MIT License. It adds a “Pinned” group to DSH Web, allowing sessions to be pinned to the top of the sidebar and persisting their state through browser local storage. It is a reversible browser-side annotation layer; after uninstallation, it makes no changes to DSH session logs or the host database.
Installation and Enablement¶
Run the following command in the DSH Web environment to install the plugin:
dsh plugin --profile web add github:RaberShef/dsh-pin-session
After installation, refresh the browser page for the plugin to take effect.
Usage¶
- Hover the mouse over a session in the left sidebar.
- Click the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner of the session item.
- Select Pin session to move it to the Pinned group at the top.
- Select Mark unread to restore the native green dot, or select Mark read to remove the plugin’s mark.
- Use Unpin session to return it to the normal list.
Features and Limitations¶
- State persistence: Pinning states and read markers are stored in the browser’s profile-local storage and do not depend on the server.
- Behavior preservation: Pinned sessions still retain normal list behavior below, and they do not affect DSH search sorting.
- Known limitation: Placeholder rows for new sessions do not have a three-dot button, so they cannot be pinned or marked.
Ecosystem Context¶
The design philosophy of DeepSeek Harness is “everything is a plugin.” This plugin directory is independent and has no official affiliation with DeepSeek or High-Flyer. Before using it, please ensure that the source code and license meet your expectations.
