Intro¶

The Web UI of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) supports appearance customization through plugins. The built-in dark theme typically uses standard dark tones. dsh-stardew-theme provides an alternative: a “Late-Night Farm” color scheme inspired by the Stardew Valley game interface. The plugin is maintained by JefferyShaw and implements visual changes by overriding the standard built-in dark theme tokens.

Core Features¶

This is a pure client-side plugin designed to modify the visual presentation of the DSH Web UI. It uses warm earthy browns, harvest gold, cream, and grassy green to create a dark color scheme. The theme supports instant switching and uninstallation without reloading the page.

Installation and Enablement¶

Install using the official command-line tool:

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-stardew-theme

After installation, access the plugin marketplace through the Web UI. Navigate to Settings > Plugin Marketplace > Themes. Find the stardew theme and click Use.

Usage¶

• Switch themes: In Settings > Plugin Marketplace > Themes, select stardew and click Use. Activation is instant and does not require a refresh.
• Switch back: Choose Light/Dark/System under Settings > General > Appearance, or click the Deactivate button in the Plugin Marketplace > Themes tab.
• Persistence: The selected theme remains active after Harness restarts.

Technical Details¶

This package uses native ESM and requires no build step. The client package is hand-written in __ModuleLoader__ format.

• Dependencies: It includes @deepseek-ai/cordis (^4.0.1) as an optional peer dependency.
• Debugging: If the browser does not pick up the client package live, you may need to refresh the page or restart Harness.
