DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts a plugin-based architecture, designed to enhance the Web GUI through extensible components. For developers accustomed to command-line interfaces or immersive interfaces, the default list view may feel dull. dsh-pixel-office is intended to solve this issue by replacing the standard session list with a top-down 6×4 pixel office.
Core Features¶
This is a digital + pixel-art workspace theme plugin for the DeepSeek Harness Web GUI. It replaces the session list with a top-down pixel office: a 6×4 (24 workstations) grid arranged like the character “田”, where each workstation corresponds to a workspace. An empty workstation has only a chair; an established workspace has a computer on the desk; when a session in a workspace is running, the monitor lights up and pulses.
- CRT monitor with embedded real chat interface: Clicking a workstation opens a front view of the desktop—on the left, a planning board with sticky notes representing sessions; on the right, a CRT monitor containing the real conversation interface: chatting, sending, and tool calls all work normally.
- Planning board and archive drawer: The planning board on the left manages sessions and supports dragging to swap positions; the archive drawer restores torn-off sticky notes.
- CRT effects: Includes effects such as CRT scanlines, mosaic dissolve, CRT boot transition, and a pixel cat blinking.
- Interface redraw: The sidebar is cropped and hidden, a top HUD spans the console, and a neon palette covers the entire interface; the right sidebar is hidden in docked mode, while fullscreen mode and floating panels are redrawn as pixel panels.
- Settings and persistence: The plugin registers a separate section in the host’s native settings panel, providing a master switch, animation intensity, and grid switch; workstation layout and sticky note placement are stored in LocalStorage.
Installation and Enablement¶
Installation essentially adds a package that declares dsh.bundle.patch as a dependency of a specific dsh profile.
dsh plugin --profile web add <本仓库绝对路径>
Notes:
* The plugin forces the use of dark theme (DARK_TOKENS).
* The plugin only supports the latest DSH version (≥ 0.1.2-alpha.1, tested on 0.1.6-alpha.2).
* After upgrading the base, the plugin must be remounted. dsh.client.inject is resolved once when the profile is added; restarting does not re-read it.
* Archived sessions without a workspace fall into the “ungrouped” workstation.
Usage and Operation¶
- Workstation and sticky note interactions: Drag a workstation or sticky note to swap positions; drag a sticky note to an empty spot to create a new session; drag a sticky note out of the planning board to tear it off and archive it; use the archive drawer to restore torn-off sticky notes.
- Sorting: Reorder workstations by activity (based on the base
SessionSummary.updatedAt). - New session: There is a stack of sticky notes at the bottom left of the desktop; drag one to an empty spot on the planning board and fill in the display text in the dialog.
Use Cases¶
Suitable for developers who want to visualize DSH workspaces and increase the sense of operational feedback.
- Review the source code and license (MIT).
- Confirm that the current DSH version is ≥ 0.1.2-alpha.1.
dsh-pixel-office reconstructs the interface with pixel art, transforming tool attributes into a visual experience, and is suitable for developers who care about workspace layout and animations. The project is located at GitHub.
