Introduction

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) uses a plugin-based architecture. In the current plugin ecosystem, most plugins focus on personal dashboards and balance queries. When teams share a host, collaboration issues such as member usage attribution, missing subagent billing, budgets, and alerts need to be addressed. dsh-team-cost specifically addresses these team-level cost metering and management issues.

Core Features

  • Complete Metering: Monitors session/event, including subagent TokenUsage.
  • Member Attribution: Attributes sessions to members based on workspace path prefix rules.
  • Pricing: Built-in DeepSeek 2026-09 price list and custom overrides.
  • Member Budgets: Supports daily/monthly cost and token budgets, with hot reload.
  • Alerts: Threshold triggers and Webhook notifications.
  • Overage Blocking: Supports off/total/members modes.
  • Reporting Tool: Built-in team_cost_report, supporting CSV export.

Install and Enable

Install the plugin from the GitHub repository:

dsh plugin --profile web add https://github.com/1569126506-sudo/dsh-team-cost

Typical Usage

  1. Configure Member Budgets: Edit the ~/.dsh/.dsh-team-cost/members file to set each member’s daily/monthly cost and token budgets.
  2. Configure Price Overrides: Edit the price-overrides file to set custom prices for specific models.
  3. Generate Reports: Use the team_cost_report tool in DSH; for example, enter “Generate this month’s team cost report” to generate a report.

Notes

  • The ledger is purely local JSONL; no session content is sent externally.
  • The npm channel will be enabled after account registration becomes available.
  • By default, it only monitors; overage blocking requires setting the enforce parameter.

Use Cases

Suitable for DSH users who need precise token and cost metering, budget management, and alert notifications in team scenarios.
