When conducting long conversations or multi-turn agent development in DeepSeek Harness Web, reviewing history can affect efficiency. dsh-chat-navigator provides a compact navigation solution for this scenario, aimed at quickly locating and previewing session content.
Plugin Purpose¶
This is a client-side plugin maintained by 16512354554. It adds a docked panel to the DeepSeek Harness Web interface for browsing user questions and guided questions in the current session, addressing the need to quickly find context in complex sessions.
Core Features¶
The plugin provides the following capabilities:
- Browse session questions: View user inputs and guided questions in the current session.
- Paginated loading: When opened by default, it displays the latest 10 questions. When loading older questions, it loads 5 at a time, with a maximum of 50.
- Hover preview: Hover over a question to preview that question and the subsequent assistant response.
- Jump navigation: Supports clicking to jump to a specific question location in the current or another session.
- Real-time updates: While a session is running, it tracks question updates in real time.
Installation and Enabling¶
The installation command is as follows:
dsh plugin --profile web add github:16512354554/dsh-chat-navigator
After installation, you need to restart dsh web for the configuration to take effect. To use it, open the chat history button at the right edge of the conversation view.
Technical Notes¶
This plugin is a standard DSH bundle. The package.json file declares dsh.bundle, and cordis.patch.yml mounts the browser client into the Web overlay slot.
Notes¶
Installing the plugin runs third-party code with the permissions of the current dsh process. It is recommended to review the source code before installing to verify security. The license is MIT.
