When developing or debugging agents with DeepSeek Harness (DSH), developers often have to stay at their desk to handle tool calls, answer model questions, or take actions when visual input is required (such as taking a photo). If they leave the computer, the agent may stall or fail to obtain the necessary context. The DSH Pocket plugin solves this problem by connecting through a phone browser to a DSH instance running on the computer, allowing you to monitor and guide the agent from a mobile device.
Plugin Positioning and Features¶
DSH Pocket is a client plugin maintained by keman-ai. Its core value is extending control of DSH agents to a phone browser, allowing you to take over agent execution without physically returning to the computer.
Core features include:
* Real-time monitoring: View the agent’s output stream, including reasoning process and final answer.
* Tool call control: Approve or reject tool calls initiated by the agent.
* Interactive responses: Answer blocking questions raised by the agent during execution.
* Multimedia input: Send messages from your phone or take a photo and provide it directly to the agent.
* Execution control: Force-stop the current in-progress turn.
* Configuration adjustment: Switch models, edit preferences (language, appearance, default model, agent loop), or change skins on mobile.
Installation and Activation¶
The plugin is disabled by default and requires manual installation and configuration.
1. Install the plugin
Use the official installation command to add the plugin to the web configuration file:
dsh plugin --profile web add -w github:keman-ai/dsh-pocket
2. Enable the plugin
After installation, the plugin does not run automatically. It must be enabled in the configuration file. Edit $DSH_HOME/profiles/web/cordis.patch.yml and add the following:
- id: pocket
config:
enabled: true
3. Link account
After enabling, link an A2H Market account in the DSH client under Settings → Pocket → Link an A2H account. When finished, your machine should appear online.
4. Access from phone
Open dsh-pocket.a2hmarket.ai in your phone browser and sign in with the same account used on the machine. After logging in, click your computer and select a session to start.
Runtime Behavior and Notes¶
DSH Pocket connects the phone and computer through A2H Market’s relay service, so it does not require opening inbound ports on the computer.
Runtime dependencies:
* DeepSeek Harness: Version must be 0.1.2 or later.
* Configuration profile: The web profile must be used, because the plugin relies on the UI and settings panel it provides.
* Node.js: Environment version must be >= 22.19.
* Account: A valid A2H Market account is required.
Security features:
* Disabled by default: No connection is established until it is manually enabled.
* Outbound-only connections: Both the plugin and the phone actively initiate connections to the relay service. The computer does not listen on any inbound ports, and no port forwarding or NAT traversal is required.
* Data privacy: Session frames are forwarded through the relay and transmitted only in memory; they are not stored or recorded in logs.
Summary¶
DSH Pocket allows developers to maintain control of their agents in mobile scenarios. By approving tool calls, answering questions, or sending photos, it bridges the gap between desktop operation and mobile needs. If you frequently need to remotely debug or manage DSH agents, this is a practical tool.
