Introduction¶
DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts a plugin-based architecture, aiming to extend functionality through community plugins. When performing model inference or teaching demonstrations, directly viewing function curves in the conversation or rendering SVG images from the workspace is a common requirement. The dsh-function-plot plugin provides this capability for the DSH web interface, integrating function plotting and SVG card display into the chat flow, so visualization can be completed without leaving the DSH environment.
What Is This¶
This is a 2D educational plotting plugin for DeepSeek Harness, supporting function curve plotting and SVG file display. It is maintained by user kirineko and is open source under the MIT license.
Core Features¶
- Plot functions: Supports plotting activation functions, distributions, classroom curves, and more.
- Display SVGs: Directly displays SVGs from the workspace on the web page.
- Card interaction: Cards support switching between far-view/near-view/comparison modes, viewing function information, and downloading SVGs.
- Render existing images: Supports rendering existing images into the conversation.
Installation and Enablement¶
Run the following commands to install the plugin and start the web service.
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-function-plot
dsh web
Typical Usage¶
Plot functions
Draw sigmoid; compare ReLU and GELU; draw y = x^2 / 2.
Display existing SVG
Show figures/arch.svg in the conversation.
Card modes
* Standalone card: Standard mode.
* Nested card: Nested card under PTC (run_code).
Configuration (Optional)¶
It works with the default settings and usually does not need changes. Only edit the configuration file when you want to change the output directory, sample count, canvas, or theme.
Edit ~/.dsh/profiles/web/cordis.patch.yml:
- id: function-plot
name: dsh-function-plot
config:
outputDir: .dsh-plots
samples: 400
width: 960
height: 540
theme: light
Notes¶
- Pnpm version: If the
pnpmversion is below 10, running theaddcommand may fail. In this case, writeallowBuilds: dsh-function-plot: truein~/.dsh/profiles/web/pnpm-workspace.yamland retry. - Permissions: The plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process. Review the source code and license before installing.
Ecosystem Background¶
The DSH philosophy is “everything is a plugin.” The community directory is an independent site and has no official affiliation with DeepSeek or High-Flyer.
