The core design philosophy of DeepSeek Harness is “everything is a plugin.” In actual development, a single AI model often has blind spots or reasoning limitations. dsh-claude-octopus aims to compensate for these weaknesses through multi-model collaboration. This is a plugin ported from nyldn/claude-octopus (MIT, v9.64.0), preserving the core logic of the upstream orchestration engine and only adapting to the DeepSeek Harness plugin seams.

Core Features

  • Multi-model orchestration: Supports 10 external providers, including Codex, Antigravity, Copilot, Qwen, Ollama, OpenRouter, and Grok, as well as the host itself as a seat.
  • Consensus gate: Sets a 75% consensus threshold before delivery, explicitly lists points of disagreement, and ensures output quality.
  • Dark Factory: Provides a spec input and automatically runs the full workflow of research, definition, development, and delivery.
  • Four-stage methodology: Discover → Define → Develop → Deliver, with quality gates between stages.
  • Rich toolset: Includes 32 specialized personas, 54 commands, and 63 skills. Workflows are activated explicitly, leaving ordinary requests unaffected.
  • dsh-native seams: The /octo command is executed through ctx.shell, and multi-agent dispatch uses ctx.subagents.

Installation

The plugin is not yet published to npm and must be installed from the GitHub repository.

dsh plugin --profile <你的 profile> add github:GongYuanCaiJi/dsh-claude-octopus

During installation, the prepare script automatically builds dist/. If pnpm intercepts the build step, add this package to the profile’s pnpm-workspace.yaml allowBuilds.

Typical Usage

  1. View help
    /octo help
  1. Multi-model parallel research
/octo research "GraphQL vs REST 的设计权衡"
  1. Development task with verification
    /octo develop "task"
  1. Structured multi-persona council
    /octo council --goal decision "?"
  1. Multi-model debate
    /octo debate "question"
  1. Complete four-stage workflow
    /octo embrace "spec"
  1. Environment diagnostics
    /octo doctor

Notes

  • The plugin uses the MIT License. The upstream orchestration engine (scripts/orchestrate.sh and all skills/commands) is preserved verbatim; only the DeepSeek Harness plugin seams are adapted.
  • It can be used with zero external providers; the host itself is a seat. If external provider CLIs (such as codex, agy, and qwen) are needed, install them as required. The /octo doctor command checks environment dependencies.
  • The upstream text is in English and has been preserved verbatim without translation.

Summary

This plugin is suitable for scenarios that require rigorous review, debate, or in-depth research across multiple models. By encapsulating complex orchestration logic under the /octo command, it lowers the barrier to multi-model collaboration. For more details, see the GitHub repository.
