Introduction

The design philosophy of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is “everything is a plugin.” Community developers often need to adapt existing skill libraries to the DSH ecosystem. dsh-claude-skills is a plugin that ports 362 Claude Code skills into DeepSeek Harness, maintained by GongYuanCaiJi.

Plugin Overview

This plugin preserves the contents of the upstream alirezarezvani/claude-skills repository word for word and ports them into the DSH ecosystem unchanged. It addresses the problem of developers who need to quickly invoke a large number of generic skills (such as code review, architecture design, and market analysis) but do not want to adapt them manually. It is a workflow-type plugin.

Core Capabilities

  • Skills and Domains: Includes 362 skills and covers 88 plugin domains. The domains span 18 directions, including engineering (with 25 advanced POWERFUL skills), product, marketing (including AEO engine optimization), regulation and quality, C-level advisory, research (litreview / grants / patent, etc.), productivity, finance, and business operations and growth.
  • Python Tools: Includes 658 built-in Python tools. Most depend only on the standard library, while a few skills require external dependencies such as PyYAML, torch/onnx, PIL, requests/bs4/pandas, and firecrawl (see the documentation for the corresponding skills).
  • Native Format: Uses the native SKILL.md format. Each skill is a <name>/SKILL.md directory package (content + scripts + references + assets), compliant with the dsh standard discovery rules.
  • Security Audit: Includes a built-in Skill Security Auditor that can scan skills for command injection, data exfiltration, or prompt injection risks before installation.

Installation and Activation

This plugin is not published to npm and must be installed from GitHub. The installation command is as follows:

dsh plugin --profile <name> add github:GongYuanCaiJi/dsh-claude-skills

If installing using a local path, run npm install first, then use dsh plugin --profile <name> add ..

Usage

After installation, the skills enter the global skill layer of DSH. In any Web / TUI / headless interface, skills can be invoked directly by name.

Example:

Using the senior-architect skill, review our microservices architecture and identify the top 3 scalability risks.

Use Cases and Considerations

  • Skill Count Note: The upstream repository claims 362 skills, while this plugin registers 361. Two of them (markdown-html/skills/design-system and md-slides) are skipped due to frontmatter format issues, leaving 359 actually available.
  • Dependencies and Permissions: The plugin runs with the permissions of the current dsh process. Before installation, review the source code and license (MIT).
  • Edge Cases: The upstream conversion trees (.codex/, .gemini/, etc.) and Claude Code-specific mechanisms (.claude/ agents, etc.) are preserved as-is, but DSH does not consume or register them.

Conclusion

This plugin brings the mature Claude Code skill set into the DSH ecosystem, making it suitable for developers who need to reuse a large number of generic skills. See GitHub for the full catalog and source code.
