Introduction¶

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts a plugin-based architecture, allowing developers to extend Agent capabilities by mounting different profile plugins. When developing profiles, integrating a ready-made skill set (such as obra Superpowers) can significantly improve development efficiency. The @anht3889/dsh-superpowers plugin solves two specific problems: first, it automatically mounts Superpowers skill files into the DSH context; second, it ensures that the Agent knows the context and methods for using the skill set when a session starts.

Core Features¶

1. Mount Skills
   When a profile is loaded, the plugin parses Superpowers’ skills/ directory and registers an isolated dsh-skill-filesystem provider (providerName: superpowers). This allows the Agent to load and use these skills normally through the skill tool.

2. Register Bootstrap
   Before the first model request, the plugin registers a system prompt section named superpowers:bootstrap. This section is generated based on using-superpowers/SKILL.md and explains to the Agent how to use these skills, while also including a brief DeepSeek Harness description of the skill tool.

Typical Usage¶

For local development, you need to build the plugin package first and then add it to the profile:

In the profile’s cordis configuration, you can set injectBootstrap to false to skip injection of the bootstrap prompt (the default is true):

Considerations¶

1. Do Not Mount Repeatedly
   Do not mount this plugin multiple times in the same profile, and do not manually copy Superpowers skill files into the ~/.dsh/skills directory. This can cause skill name conflicts and result in a messy directory structure.

2. Skill Source
   Skill files are not committed directly to this repository. During the build process, specifically in the prepack script, they are copied from upstream Superpowers into the vendor/superpowers/ directory and distributed together with the npm package.

3. Pinned Dependency
   The Superpowers dependency is locked to commit 86babb6 (corresponding to the v6.3.0 tag), which prevents silent upstream changes from causing inconsistent plugin behavior.
