Introduction

DSH sessions are ephemeral. Once a session ends, the Agent’s tool calls, error recoveries, and final decisions are lost. agentmemory is a local, self-hosted memory daemon that provides persistence across sessions and across Harness. The dsh-agentmemory plugin is the DSH-side connector; it is responsible for writing DSH activity to the daemon, reading memory back to the model when appropriate, and exposing explicit memory tools.

Plugin Overview

  • Positioning: A DSH Cordis plugin that provides durable, searchable memory for each DSH session.
  • Maintainer: Yiipu
  • Category: Memory
  • License: MIT

Core Capabilities

The plugin provides functionality across three layers, connecting DSH with the agentmemory ecosystem:
* Write: Observation bridge. Maps DSH events to standard agentmemory hook types, ensuring the data can be read by the daemon’s compression pipeline, search index, and viewer.
* Read: Context injection. Through the agent/pre-step stream, it injects the project recall window at the start of a session and reinjects memory before compression.
* Agent tools: Provides the memory_recall and memory_remember tools for explicit, precise invocation by the Agent.

Installation and Enabling

Before installing the plugin, you must start the agentmemory daemon (the default REST port is 3111). The plugin requires Node.js version >= 20.

  1. Install the plugin:
dsh plugin --profile web add github:Yiipu/dsh-agentmemory
  1. Mount the configuration entry in cordis.yml. The baseUrl configuration points to the daemon address, and enabled controls the enable state:
    - insert:
        - id: agentmemory-bridge
          name: "dsh-agentmemory"
          config:
            baseUrl: http://localhost:3111
            enabled: true

Typical Usage

Use the officially recommended migration command to migrate existing memory data under the new connector:

agentmemory connect dsh --with-hooks

Notes

  • Deprecated: This plugin is no longer maintained. agentmemory 0.9.29+ includes a built-in official DSH connector that covers automatic capture, MCP tools, and hook bridging for dsh-hooks-claude-code. Migrate to the official solution.
  • Hard dependency: agentmemory is a hard dependency. The plugin checks the daemon’s /agentmemory/livez endpoint during loading; if the daemon is unreachable or in an abnormal state, the plugin will fail to load.
  • Deduplication limitation: The agentmemory deduplication mechanism cannot merge data streams produced by two connectors, so only one connection mode can be enabled under the same Daemon (do not run both the legacy plugin and the official connector at the same time).

Ecosystem Background

DSH’s core philosophy is “everything is a plugin”. This plugin is hosted in the community directory and has no affiliation with DeepSeek or the official app store. Developers can view directory details in SkillHub or obtain the source code from GitHub.
