Introduction¶
The core design philosophy of DeepSeek Harness is “everything is a plugin.” As the plugin ecosystem becomes increasingly rich, developers often face one question: how to quickly identify the most popular, newest, or most useful plugins in the community? dsh-plugin-leaderboard addresses this pain point by reading dsh-plugin topic data on GitHub and directly displaying various leaderboards in the Web UI, avoiding the hassle of manually filtering through community catalogs or repositories.
Plugin Purpose¶
This is a community plugin used to display plugin leaderboards in the DeepSeek Harness Web interface. It does not rely on the official app store, but generates leaderboards by reading public GitHub topic data. Open source repository: GitHub.
Core Features¶
-
Sidebar Panel
After restartingdsh web, a “Plugin Leaderboard” entry appears at the bottom of the sidebar. The panel contains four tabs: Hottest, Newest, Trending Top 10, and Recommended. Each entry displays star count and fork count, and provides actions for “Copy Install Command”, “Copy Explanation Prompt”, and “Open Repository”. -
Explanation Prompt
This plugin provides a prompt that users can paste into the Harness editor. The Agent will automatically clone the repository and explain the plugin’s functionality, the problems it solves, its effect after installation, how to start it, and who it is suitable for in plain language. -
Slash Command
Enter/leaderboard [hot|new|fire]directly in the conversation to view the corresponding leaderboard. The Agent can also use the toollist_dsh_plugin_leaderboardto answer questions about rankings. -
HTTP API
The service provides aGET /dsh-plugin-leaderboardendpoint for the Web panel to call, supporting custom GitHub Token, cache duration, and exclusion items.
Installation and Enablement¶
Run the following command in the terminal to install:
dsh plugin --profile web add github:shaoxia20240902/dsh-plugin-leaderboard
After installation, restart dsh web. A “Plugin Leaderboard” button will appear at the bottom of the sidebar. Click it to view the leaderboard.
Configuration Notes¶
After installation, custom configuration can be done through cordis.yml or a profile patch:
- id: dsh-plugin-leaderboard
config:
githubToken: # 可选,未认证搜索已足够,Token 可提升速率限制
topic: dsh-plugin
cacheTtlMs: 300000
excludes:
- deepseek-ai/deepseek-harness
originUrl: http://101.34.27.122:3091
Important Notes¶
-
Code Source
This is third-party code. Review the source code and pin a specific commit before installation to avoid introducing uncontrollable risks. -
Data Loading Strategy
Leaderboard data is loaded preferentially from the hosted API (MySQL), falling back to GitHub if loading fails. The recommended list is stored only in the database. -
Network and Token Security
The GitHub Token is sent only to the official API and never through public proxies. Unauthenticated GitHub search is sufficient for personal installation, and the Token is mainly used to increase rate limits. -
GitHub Blocking Scenarios
By default, access: autoattempts the official API or public proxies, such asghfast.top. The plugin automatically retries proxies to ensure sidebar data loading, but still uses official GitHub when opening repositories.
