Perler Beads Pattern Generator

What problem it solves

Perler bead crafts often get stuck between a reference photo and a workable pattern. Real photos may have too many colors, noisy edges, or an awkward aspect ratio, and makers still have to simplify palettes and trace outlines by hand. This skill turns an object photo or pattern image into a Perler beads style pattern, and also returns a visual analysis summary plus generation prompts for later adjustment.

How it works

The flow is an async API workflow. Core inputs include img_url or Base64 image data, with optional design_guidance and aspect_ratio, such as “beginner-friendly, no more than 5 colors” or 16:9. It first performs compliance checks, then extracts the main subject, dominant colors, color ratios, outline features, and detail complexity. Based on those constraints, it builds positive and negative prompts, generates the pattern using the original image as reference, and polls the task by task_id until the pattern image URL, summary, and prompts are returned. Without an appKey, it can return a simulated preview directly; real generation is strictly asynchronous.

Boundaries

This is useful for DIY assistance, pattern pixelization, palette simplification, and making references. It does not replace physical bead counting, material ratios, or final craft calibration. img_url is required; task status and intermediate data should be reported while polling; simulated results are previews, not real generated output.
