About this skill
Problem
Short-drama video prompts often fail not because wording is missing, but because they lack shot-level structure. Dialogue, action, framing, camera moves, character voices, and visual style get mixed together, producing inconsistent storyboards and video generations.
Workflow
Storyboard Creation Assistant treats a single-shot script as a directorial task. It first locks video ratio and video style; style is only injected into the final video prompt, while the multi-grid storyboard stays in a hand-drawn sketch style. For each shot, it checks length against the 4–15 second and 2–25 frame limits, maintains a session-level role bible for characters, scenes, and props, and confirms character voice descriptions before use. The workflow then splits the script by shot size, camera movement, subject action, and state change, plans frame durations, outputs a confirmation table, and produces two separate code blocks: multi-grid storyboard prompt and video prompt. Built-in layout, risk checks, and character budgets keep the prompts concise while preserving shot, composition, and performance details.
Boundaries
It is best for single-shot scripts in short dramas, ads, or character-driven scenes, not for dumping multiple long scenes at once. The process uses confirmation gates for style, role bible, and storyboard design. It does not write files and does not silently split overly long scripts. Final prompts are mainly in Chinese, with a few English technical terms.
Use Cases
- A short-drama writer sends a 10-second single shot with dialogue and asks for confirmed storyboard design plus a storyboard prompt.
- A video prompt engineer compresses confirmed shot size, camera movement, and voice constraints into a 2000-character video prompt.
- A content producer maintains character names and voice descriptions across shots so role settings stay consistent in later prompts.
- A storyboard designer converts a 2-to-25-frame sketch plan into a multi-grid image prompt with shot annotations.
Best For
- Short-drama scriptwriters who need to turn a single-shot script into a confirmed frame plan and a storyboard prompt.
- AI video prompt engineers who need to fit shot language, voice, and style constraints within prompt character limits.
- Content producers managing character settings across multiple shots in one session, keeping names, props, and voices consistent.
- Storyboard artists who need to convert confirmed frame designs into multi-grid hand-drawn sketch prompts.
