About this skill

Problem being addressed

Many drafts are usable but not polished: the tone feels overly AI-generated, the style shifts between sections, terminology and punctuation are inconsistent, and the text is too verbose. Markdown and plain-text layouts may also lack a stable visual rhythm. This skill targets professional writing, academic papers, and creator content by turning common document refinement into repeatable processing steps.

How the skill works

It covers six task types: reducing AI tone, grammar correction, style unification, layout polishing, redundancy compression, and multi-version output. A typical flow starts by identifying the goal: making the writing sound more human, or fixing Chinese typos, English tense issues, and mixed punctuation. It then applies a target style, such as academic, business, conversational, technical, or news-like tone. The output keeps core facts, data, and viewpoints intact. For Markdown, it normalizes # headings, lists, code blocks, tables, and spacing. For Word, it focuses on heading styles, paragraph spacing, and font roles, though the source notes its Word layout support is limited. Compression tasks remove repetitive phrasing, merge similar points, and report word-count changes.

Boundaries and caveats

It works well for everyday documents, technical explainers, blog posts, and report drafts. For contracts, legal texts, and medical writing, it should stay conservative and avoid deep terminology rewrites. Removing AI tone does not guarantee a detector result, and output quality depends on the underlying LLM.

Use Cases

  • Before publishing a WeChat post, remove formulaic transitions and unify a conversational style
  • When writing an English API tutorial, fix articles, tense, and code-block language labels
  • Compress a proposal draft to 1500 words while keeping key data and arguments
  • Before submission, unify academic terms, full-width punctuation, and heading levels

Best For

  • Content creators writing social posts who want less AI tone and a friendly conversational voice
  • Engineers writing technical docs and API tutorials who need consistent terminology, grammar fixes, and clean Markdown layout
  • Researchers finishing papers or reports who want an academic tone and tighter wording
  • Product or operations staff handling business emails and proposals who need concise, polished multi-version output
