About this skill

Problem It Solves

Daily crypto market data is scattered across exchanges, sentiment indices, trending lists, and on-chain fee signals. Manually collecting it can produce inconsistent timestamps, missing fields, or screenshots that are hard to archive. This skill turns data fetching, aggregation, and presentation into a repeatable workflow and outputs a previewable HTML report.

How It Works

  • Real-time collection: fetch_data.py pulls BTC/ETH quotes, USDT-pair rankings, funding rates, the Fear & Greed Index, CoinGecko trending coins, and BTC network fees from public APIs such as Binance, Alternative.me, CoinGecko, and mempool.space, then writes market_data.json.
  • Report generation: generate_report.py reads the JSON and builds a dark-themed responsive HTML report with sections for BTC & ETH 24h quotes, gainers and losers, market sentiment, and trending & on-chain activity.
  • Delivery: the report can be shown via preview_url in a browser, sent with deliver_attachments, and summarized with a concise text note.

Boundaries and Notes

All data should be queried in real time; cached or hardcoded values are not allowed. Tables should include a clear query timestamp and follow the red-up, green-down convention. If an API fails, the report should note the unavailable source and continue with the remaining data. It presents market information only and does not provide trading advice, buy/sell signals, or price predictions.
