About this skill
Problem
Weekly work notes are often fragmented and informal: project names, task actions, collaborators, and deliverables are mixed together. Submitting them directly can look thin, while aggressive rewriting may introduce facts that were not present.
How it works
The skill turns the process into auditable steps:
- Read the raw notes: extract projects, task types, participants, and deliverables without speculation.
- Group the structure: prefer project or theme categories, keep 3–5 groups, and place Other last.
- Polish expression: replace vague verbs such as “do, watch, write, talk” with specific actions such as “advance, investigate, draft, align,” and add scope, purpose, and outcomes.
- Validate format: use 【】 for category titles, 1. numbering for items, end items with ;, end the final item in a category with ., and leave one blank line between categories.
Scope
Best for turning 1–15 daily work items into a formal weekly report. It preserves the original facts and does not add unspecified data, customers, amounts, or dates. If the input already has categories, it respects them and adjusts only when the grouping is clearly unreasonable.
Use Cases
- Turn scattered notes into a submittable weekly report.
- Group raw work items by project or theme and polish them.
- Reword informal demo notes into action-result items.
- Normalize categories, numbering, semicolons, and spacing.
Best For
- Engineers turning scattered notes into formal weekly reports
- PMs who need polished project progress for management review
- Ops staff who unify research, requirements, and demo notes
- Functional roles needing polished work records
