About this skill

Problem

Brand visibility in AI answers is hard to judge from classic search rankings alone. Classic SERP data cannot show how an AI assistant filters sources. When users ask for category recommendations, direct comparisons, or brand reviews, Doubao, Kimi, and DeepSeek may differ on whether the brand appears, where it ranks, and how competitors are framed.

How It Works

  • Input: collect the brand name, category, and optional aliases, competitors, or custom questions.
  • Question generation: if no questions are supplied, generate five natural-language questions covering recommendation, comparison, evaluation, and scenario use, then wait for user confirmation.
  • Batch search: submit the same five questions to three AI platforms, poll task status, and save search_results.json.
  • Analysis: run deterministic checks for mention rate and domains, then have the agent inspect each completed answer for brand_rank, sentiment, competitors_mentioned, and key_claims.
  • Output: merge the metrics, generate geo_report.html, and summarize three to five key findings.

Boundaries

  • Requires an API key from RedFox Hub; missing credentials block the workflow.
  • AI platform responses can be unstable. If some tasks fail, the workflow analyzes completed results only and marks gaps.
  • Short brand names can over-match, so aliases are recommended.
  • Sentiment and competitor extraction are model-derived observations, useful as a consistent lens but not a single source of truth.

Use Cases

  • Before a product launch, verify brand ranking and competitor comparisons in Doubao, Kimi, and DeepSeek answers.
  • During quarterly review, aggregate brand mention rate, sentiment, and source domains from AI search answers.
  • The campaign team checks which user scenarios miss the brand and organizes competitor mention frequency.
  • Research teams submit custom questions to AI search platforms in bulk and generate an HTML report for decisions.

Best For

  • Launch manager for a new product who needs to check brand ranking and competitor framing in AI search recommendations.
  • Brand analyst monitoring competitors who needs consistent sentiment and ranking records across Doubao, Kimi, and DeepSeek.
  • Operations lead managing content campaigns who needs to see where the brand is missing or viewed negatively in user questions.
  • Consultant researching AI search performance who needs to aggregate answers into a client-ready report.
