About this skill
Problem
Traditional Meihua Yi readings often remain informal: charts, image extraction, ti-yong reasoning, empty branches, and post-event review are hard to reproduce.
How It Works
The skill turns the reading workflow into a scriptable process:
- Time-based casting: converts Gregorian dates to lunar month, day, and hour.
- Numeric casting: builds a chart from a three-digit number.
- Character casting: splits a Chinese character into upper and lower trigrams and uses stroke count to locate the moving line.
The script preserves the raw chart record and automatically derives the opposite trigram, reversed trigram, empty branches, and spirit stars. Inference is split into two stages: first present the chart and ask for external signs, then reason through image analysis, ti-yong relations, changed trigrams, moving line, emptiness, spirit stars, verification, and conclusion with explicit support.
Each case can be stored in SQLite, reviewed, marked for feedback, and turned into study notes for later revision.
Boundaries
This is useful for structured learning and case review, not as the sole basis for major decisions. Interpretation should prioritize trigram images, five-phase relations, and external signs rather than copying gua or yao texts.
