About this skill
Problem
Planning reports often suffer from missed client feedback, inconsistent edits, and contradictions after revision. Word feedback may be scattered across comments, track changes, red text, and text boxes, making it hard to prove that extraction was complete and every change was applied.
How It Works
The skill turns report revision into a verifiable workflow:
- Extract: parse comments, track changes, and nonstandard marks such as red text or strikethrough
- Verify extraction: run verify_extraction.py to independently check for missed items
- Apply edits: locate original text, record before/after changes, and handle linked data or terminology
- Verify application: use verify_revisions.py to confirm old text is gone and new wording appears
- Check and report: validate data, terminology, and cross-references, then generate line-by-line and section summaries
Boundaries
It is suited to formal reports or proposals with multiple feedback rounds. Before running it, confirm the feedback file, target document, revision round, and Python dependencies. For large batches over 30 comments, process by chapter. It is not needed for simple single-paragraph rewrites.
