New WorkBuddy users often do not know how to define assistant preferences, choose base skills, or turn everyday tasks into clear instructions. This skill turns onboarding into a concrete sequence and reduces configuration guesswork.
How It Works and Boundaries
It collects key details through chat-style questions: preferred name, profession, main tasks, writing style, and content boundaries, then generates a six-rule guide. After the user confirms OK, it writes the rules to ~/.workbuddy/SOUL.md so later conversations stay consistent.
Next, it suggests common base skills such as Skill security scan, Agent Browser, AI drawing, PDF generation, Word generation, and PPT generation, and adds role-based options like content publishing, video generation, or paper tracking. It can also offer practice tasks: cover image, web page reading, and article drafting.
Note: It is for first-time setup and beginner guidance, not for users with an established SOUL.md; the flow expects step-by-step answers rather than a one-shot form. If a mature setup already exists, review the current rules before deciding to rewrite them.
