Problem it solves
Engineers often need to turn long videos into reusable notes, but manual listening, note-taking, and cross-platform export are expensive. Video Fast Summary targets Bilibili, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, YouTube, and local files, converting video into structured knowledge such as summaries, chapters, quotes, subtitles, mind maps, and share cards.
How it works
The skill groups tasks into core analysis, content extraction, export, and batch comparison. Key capabilities include:
- AI summary: distills 3-5 structured points
- Full analysis: outputs summary, quotes, mind map, and score together
- Chapter segmentation: splits content into 3-5 chapters with timestamps
- Quote extraction: selects key lines with positions
- Subtitle export: plain text, SRT, and translated SRT
- Long-video handling: automatically chunks and merges videos over 1 hour
- Comparison / batch processing: compares multiple videos or merges results
After a URL or local file is provided, the skill downloads, transcribes, analyzes, and then produces Markdown, SRT, PNG, or social copy outputs.
Limits to note
It is intended for published, downloadable recorded videos, roughly under 2 hours and under 500MB. It does not support live streams, private or member-only videos, music-only or no-speech content. Audio is sent to Alibaba Cloud DashScope for transcription and analysis, and is not persistently stored after processing; sensitive title keywords may trigger blocking or warnings.
