About this skill

Problem

A single PE ratio, moving-average signal, or sentiment indicator can easily conflict with another: a stock may look cheap but lack trend confirmation, break out on volume but remain overvalued, or appear optimistic while trading becomes crowded. This skill targets A-share and HK-listed stocks and focuses on the practical question of when a buy signal is more reliable, by evaluating value, trend, and sentiment together using real market data.

How It Works

The skill produces a three-factor score and a complete report:
- Value factor: uses DCF, FCF, ROE, valuation levels, and industry benchmarks to estimate a margin of safety.
- Trend factor: checks MA20, MA60, volume, sector ETF behavior, and northbound/southbound flows to confirm trend strength.
- Sentiment factor: combines iVIX, VHSI, market breadth, margin balances, and turnover to distinguish panic from euphoria.
A buy signal is generated only when the combined score passes the threshold, with support levels, stop-loss guidance, position suggestions, and risk notes.

Boundaries

The skill depends on live data collection; missing data must be reported explicitly rather than filled with estimates. It is useful for research support and signal screening, but it does not replace due diligence, compliance review, or real-time trade execution, and it should not be treated as a substitute for monitoring fundamental shocks, policy changes, or liquidity risks.

Use Cases

  • Quant screening A-share candidates and checking whether DCF, trend, and sentiment all pass.
  • HK equity analyst writing a stock note using southbound flows, short ratio, and VHSI.
  • Advisory team summarizing A-share value, trend, and sentiment scores into a watchlist.
  • Risk reviewer checking for ST stocks, abnormal volatility, or position-limit breaches.

Best For

  • A-share researchers who need a unified signal report covering valuation, trend, and sentiment.
  • HK equity analysts who need to assess entry risk using southbound flows, short ratio, and index breadth.
  • Portfolio managers who need buy/avoid calls with stop-loss levels and position caps.
  • Risk reviewers who need to check ST stocks, abnormal volatility, and position-limit breaches.
