About this skill

Problem

Early-stage AI video work often gets stuck between script, storyboard, art direction, and prompts. Directors, writers, art directors, and sound designers can produce disconnected notes, making revisions hard to track. This skill turns pre-production into a staged, reviewable pipeline instead of a one-shot prompt dump.

How It Works

It follows a Default Pipeline with seven phases:
- Briefing: confirms aspect ratio, use case, scene, and constraints.
- Content: shapes story, scenes, and narrative structure.
- Visual Development: defines color, style, and character settings, with optional AI image tools for reference.
- Script: produces dialogue, shot language, action, and duration.
- Sound Direction: sets music, SFX, and narration tone.
- Storyboard: creates 6/9-panel storyboards with matching prompts.
- Assembly: consolidates outputs into a full Creative Package.
Each phase is reviewed by Director, with no more than two revision rounds; simple requests can use Fast-Track Pipeline.

Boundaries

It does not render video or guarantee AI image/video results; final production depends on downstream tools or manual work. Character consistency remains model-limited, and case references must be loaded before use.

Use Cases

  • Kick off a 30-second brand short by confirming aspect ratio, use case, scene constraints, and narrative structure.
  • Break a finalized script into 6/9-panel storyboards with shot size, movement, lighting, and prompt columns.
  • Load a cyberpunk case reference to inject shot, color, and VFX techniques into the art direction.
  • Export a literary script, storyboard tech table, and Creative Package for HTML compositing or manual shooting.

Best For

  • Creators producing 15-60-second AI video shorts who need pre-production scripts and storyboard prompts
  • Content leads handling product launch or feature demo videos who need consistent shot language and visual setting
  • Independent directors who want to reuse scripts, storyboards, art direction, and sound direction as a package
  • Video workflow engineers integrating AI image/video tools who need a structured pre-production process
