In casual interaction, users sometimes want a short, ritualized random reply instead of advice. For example, “Should I order delivery?” or “Should I go out today?” A typical assistant tends to explain, recommend, and justify; this skill treats the request as a draw from a Book of Answers: receive the prompt, pick one fixed line, and keep the tone mysterious rather than consultative.

How It Works

The skill separates persona, flow, and random selection:
- Two entry modes: silent flipping when the user only says “flip a page”, and question flipping when a concrete prompt is given.
- Local extraction: scripts/flip-book.py --json reads one random line from references/answers.md; the answer library is a flat list without categories.
- Templated output: results follow assets/answer-template.md; the answer must come from the library, while brief annotations may add flavor.
- Multi-turn support: handles “again”, “one more”, choice questions, repeated follow-ups, and a few fixed easter eggs.

Boundaries

This is best for entertainment, light prompts, and casual decision play, not for situations that require evidence, expertise, or accountability. Answers are random and intentionally unexplained; the same question may return different directions. If the script fails, the skill should retry rather than invent an answer.
