About this skill
Problem Addressed
Many AI video projects stall because story, narration, shots, assets, and generation prompts are planned separately. Audiences may not leave with a clear takeaway, camera moves lack information-driven reasons, generated characters drift across shots, and asset ownership remains ambiguous. This skill treats pre-production planning as an inspectable workflow: clarify the communication task first, then produce a script structure that can move directly into production.
How It Works
It starts from three input groups: audience and goal, content assets, and production constraints. It then generates a video brief, narrative skeleton, beat sheet, full storyboard, narration and on-screen text, generation prompts, and an asset inventory. Key constraints include: each beat must add new information or shift audience emotion; each shot must define duration, framing, camera movement, action, asset source, and fallback option; generated prompts should lock continuity anchors such as character, wardrobe, hair, age band, props, direction, and scene state; assets are categorized as must-shoot, generatable, existing, licensed, substitutable, or post-produced. A final pre-visualization or animatic check verifies real narration timing, total duration, silent comprehension, and whether key evidence remains visible.
Boundaries And Notes
It fits tutorials, product demos, knowledge explainers, brand stories, and case reviews where narration, shots, and assets must coordinate. If only a topic exists without verifiable facts, it proposes a draft brief and narrative directions instead of inventing cases. If budget or footage is limited, it preserves evidence shots and cuts decorative scenes or complex transitions first.
Use Cases
- Before producing a 60-second tutorial, create a storyboard, narration, and on-screen text to reduce rework.
- Plan branded character shots with fixed wardrobe, hair, and scene anchors, plus acceptable fallback shots.
- Turn an existing case into a shootable review video with an asset list, licensing status, and production order.
- Plan a knowledge explainer under a tight budget, keep evidence shots, and cut decorative scenes first.
Best For
- Product operations owner turning feature selling points into a shootable demo video script
- Content editor converting spoken-topic drafts into storyboards and asset inventories
- Designer generating AI video shots who needs character continuity and fallback options
- Brand marketing planner structuring character-story beats and licensed assets
