About this skill

Problem

When extending a story fragment, common failure modes are character drift, contradictory worldbuilding, and pacing collapse. This skill treats continuation as context analysis rather than simply asking for the next paragraph.

How it works

It first infers the world, character relationships, tone, and writing style, then plans scene beats, dialogue, conflict escalation, and foreshadowing. It supports:
- Continuation: preserves character setup and plot logic
- Style fit: suspense, romance, sci-fi, historical, xuanhuan, etc.
- Controlled output: target length, HE/BE/open ending, and hooks
It can ask whether the direction matches expectations before iterating.

Boundaries

It is better for web novels, short stories, and creative paragraph-level continuation than for building a full long-form outline from scratch. It does not guarantee factual research. Sensitive material is handled through implication or omission; sparse input may require user confirmation before reasonable assumptions are added.

Use Cases

  • Extend an existing novel fragment while preserving character setup, worldbuilding, and current style.
  • Continue a suspense or romance short story with planted clues, twists, sweetness, and a hook for the next scene.
  • When the opening is under-specified, add reasonable setup and propose a confirmable direction before continuing.
  • Organize the original text and continuation into Markdown for local editing of the same story.

Best For

  • Web novel writers: continuing a chapter while keeping protagonist behavior and pacing consistent.
  • Short-story writers: completing a story in suspense, romance, sci-fi, or other styles with length control.
  • Creative content editors: generating style variants from the same opening and selecting one to expand.
  • Story planners: checking whether continuation follows the setup, plants foreshadowing, and leaves iteratable hooks.
