About this skill
Problem
In World Cup Q&A, agents can blend fixtures, scores, standings, predictions, and team profiles into plain text, or invent missing scores and ELO ratings. World Cup Prophet constrains the flow to verifiable data interfaces: match results must come from getMatchResult, ELO ratings must come from getTeamInfo or predictMatch, and predictions must include an entertainment-only disclaimer.
How It Works
It routes user intent first: fixtures use getUpcomingMatches, scores use getMatchResult, standings or rankings use getStandings, knockout brackets use getKnockoutBracket, two-team predictions use predictMatch, and champion, team detail, or fortune questions use getChampionPrediction, getTeamInfo, or getTeamFortune. When a successful response is bound to a component, the agent should render the card instead of restating details in Markdown lists; team codes, scores, and ELO values must remain exactly as returned by the API.
Boundaries
This skill fits World Cup schedules, results, standings, bracket queries, match predictions, and team information lookups. It does not guarantee prediction accuracy, and it should not be treated as official data or betting advice; when the user's intent is ambiguous, the agent should ask for clarification rather than guessing an interface.
Use Cases
- Before matchday content, fetch upcoming fixtures, final scores, and group standings to draft a schedule update.
- When comparing two teams, call the prediction API for the forecast and ELO fields, then add an entertainment disclaimer.
- During knockout-stage review, inspect the bracket, completed scores, and team details to map the route forward.
- While building a team feature, retrieve a specified team's ELO, roster info, or fortune card to avoid inventing fields.
Best For
- Sports editors writing pre-match posts who need to verify fixtures, scores, standings, and prediction disclaimers quickly.
- Content operators running team-data columns who need ELO, roster info, and fortune cards by team name instead of manual notes.
- Engineers building matchday Q&A bots who need intent routing to fixtures, scores, standings, brackets, and predictions.
- Data-minded fans tracking World Cup groups who need standings, bracket details, team info, and clear prediction disclaimers.
