About this skill

Problem

Micro-exercise advice often stops at a single suggestion: users may want to try toe raises, hydration, or stretching, but they still have to choose today's items and maintain a low-friction log. Manual check-ins are easy to miss, while strict streaks can feel too punishing. The core friction is not a lack of exercises, but a lack of a continuous recording context.

How It Works

This skill combines an exercise list with a lightweight check-in workflow:
- Launch list: shows front-page micro-exercises and expandable categories to reduce choice cost.
- Conversational check-in: the user says "toe raises and hydration today", then the AI records it via --check.
- Gentle strength: completed items move toward 100; missed days decay with S × 0.93 instead of resetting to zero.
- Benefit notes: each entry explains why it matters, for example toe raises→calf training + lower-limb circulation.
- Custom items: users can add personal exercises with --add, then merge them into display and scoring. The strength algorithm is transparent, making it easier to understand why the log did not break.

Boundaries

It does not replace medical care. Climbing stairs, sun exposure, and traditional practices still depend on intensity and health status. The built-in list is references/items.json; user items live in data/custom_items.json, custom items are marked custom: true, and the structure should not be edited manually.

Use Cases

  • While working long at a desk, pick a ready-to-do micro-exercise from the front-page list and log it.
  • Before end of workday, dictate completed items like hydration and toe raises, then review benefits and strength.
  • When planning a personal routine, add favorite exercises and merge them into check-in scoring.
  • After several weeks of training, use status to review streaks and trends, then decide whether to adjust intensity.

Best For

  • Programmers who sit long and want to do toe raises or stretches between work blocks while tracking continuity.
  • Health coordinators who need to include hydration and breathing habits in check-ins and see gentle strength scores.
  • Fitness beginners interested in traditional practices but needing safety notes and evidence-grade guidance.
  • Rehab participants who want to add personal exercises and unify them with built-in items for scoring.
