About this skill

Problem

In contract review, the accuracy of legal opinions matters more than fast formatting. If a model rewrites the API’s returned clauses, it may omit, summarize, or replace statutory citations, which can distort the professional opinion. This skill focuses on a narrower task: calling the ZhiFa API to review Chinese-law contract text and returning the full reviewText unchanged.

How It Works

The skill takes plain contract text and the reviewer’s standpoint as required inputs. It first confirms user_input and user_standpoint, then proceeds to the API call. Key steps include:
- Credential setup: store the phone number in .env and write ACCURLEX_BEARER_TOKEN using the login script.
- Review execution: call the review script, producing Markdown, outputs/contract_review_*.md, and structured JSON.
- Word export: use the Python script to apply formatting, risk markers, citations, and disclaimers without changing the substantive content.

Boundaries

It supports Chinese-law contracts, plain text, and the “review opinion” mode only. It does not perform OCR, PDF, or DOCX parsing. The reviewer’s standpoint must be requested if missing, and the returned opinion must not be summarized, rewritten, or replaced.

Use Cases

  • Legal counsel receives a procurement contract in plain text and asks for Party A review of payment and liability clauses.
  • A deal assistant passes a lease agreement converted to text and needs the full ZhiFa opinion plus a Word export.
  • Compliance staff checks IP clauses in a services contract and requests an opinion with legal citations.
  • A project manager confirms their review stance, then asks for a plain-text review of key payment clauses.

Best For

  • Corporate counsel who needs standpoint-based Chinese-law contract review and a downloadable Word opinion.
  • Compliance officers checking payment, liability, and IP clauses with statutory citations.
  • Deal assistants who receive plain-text agreements and need full opinions plus formatted Word output.
  • Project managers who want to confirm their position before reviewing payment and delivery clauses.
