About this skill
Problem
Stock conversations often mix short-term news, emotional pressure, and long-term structural factors. A trader may overreact to same-day sentiment or hesitate because holding cost feels painful. This skill makes the review process explicit by separating the investment question into time-scaled checks.
How It Works
It first asks for the target ticker, current situation, cost basis, capital horizon, and risk tolerance. Then it works through 1-day, 1-year, 3-year, 5-year, and 10-year horizons. The 1-day layer filters noise from news, funding, technicals, and sentiment. The 1-year layer builds optimistic, neutral, and bearish scenarios with quarterly estimates and an event calendar. The 3-year layer maps the industry cycle and operating path. The 5-year layer audits moats and structural endgames. The 10-year layer frames the decision as a long-run wealth coordinate and a short, actionable note.
Boundaries
The skill requires data support, probability language, assumptions, and counter-risk notes, but it does not issue buy or sell orders. Financial and valuation estimates should be checked against official filings and public sources.
Use Cases
- Before buying, filter one-day noise.
- When anxious, model 1Y/3Y scenarios.
- Before selling, audit 5Y moat.
- Review: assumptions and counter-risk.
Best For
- Buy-side traders checking whether short-term sentiment is driving a buy
- Anxious retail holders reviewing cost basis and position size
- Analysts mapping industry cycles, fundamentals, and event nodes into reviews
- Finance writers drafting decision notes with assumptions and counter-risks
