About this skill

Problem

Pre-market decisions often get stuck on fragmented information: overnight news is scattered, stale items slip in, holiday and macro-event checks are missed, and sector impact is reduced to simple cause-and-effect. finance-morning-briefing turns this into a fixed pipeline: confirm whether today is an A-share trading day, scan the macro event calendar, collect news from yesterday's close to today's pre-market window, and output a structured briefing that is easy to review.

How It Works

  • Trading-day and macro gates: It uses neodata-financial-search to check whether the market is open and stops immediately on non-trading days. It then checks central bank decisions, key economic releases, exchange holidays, geopolitical events, and earnings season before briefing.
  • News collection and tagging: It collects news across macro, policy, sector, and company announcement dimensions, aiming for 20+ valid items and expanding queries or calling finance-data-retrieval when needed. Each item is tagged as 🔴 bullish, 🟢 bearish, or ⚪ neutral by sector.
  • Structured output: It produces a briefing with prior-day review, key sectors, announcements, and risk notes. Bullish sectors may include related stock references; bearish sectors do not. Stock codes are limited to the main board and ChiNext, excluding ST. A light-mode HTML version is generated for archiving and preview.

Boundaries

This skill is intended for A-share pre-market information curation and depends on external data sources and reference docs. Holiday dates and central-bank meeting dates should be verified against official announcements or multiple sources. It is useful for aggregation and signal labeling, not a real-time market feed or individual stock investment decision tool.

Use Cases

  • Before the open, compile overnight news, central bank decisions, and key announcements while flagging bullish sectors.
  • On the first trading day after a holiday, check exchange closures, macro events, and finance news since the prior close.
  • When drafting pre-market analysis, classify news as bullish, bearish, or neutral and generate an archivable HTML briefing.
  • During prior-day review, load yesterday's predictions and compare them with today's news to output a review module.

Best For

  • Research assistants covering A-shares who need overnight news and macro events turned into a structured pre-market review.
  • Finance content editors who need multi-source news deduplicated, sector signals tagged, and a publishable HTML briefing.
  • Trading-desk operators who need trading-day, holiday, and central-bank meeting dates checked before briefing.
  • Individual investors who need a quick pre-market view of overnight news, company announcements, and risk events.
