How It Works
The skill uses Playwright to drive a browser session and reuses existing login state to scroll pages, parse content, and download media. Core capabilities include:
- Weibo favorites, personal posts, and other users' posts
- Image downloads with nine-grid layouts and sizes such as
360px,480px,690px,2000px, or originallarge - Optional video downloads, with highest quality by default
- Optional long-article downloads
- Markdown output with previous and next navigation links for ordered review
The main flow checks for cookies.json or a usable user_data_dir. If login state or target URL is missing, it asks the user to log in within 60 seconds and open the favorites page, personal profile, or target creator page. A first run can be small for preview, then daily backup can use parameters such as --url, --max-download, --skip-existing, and --image-size. After the run, inspect the output directory for Markdown files and local media.
Boundaries and Cautions
This skill is suitable for personal favorites, account backups, and saving a limited number of followed pages. First login should not be headless; expired login state requires refreshing cookies.json or the browser data directory. Weibo may apply anti-scraping limits, so keep --max-download reasonable. High-resolution images and videos can consume significant disk space, and directory permissions and network access must also be valid.
