About this skill

Problem

fulcra-dashboard addresses the need to turn Fulcra annotations, records, and agent tasks into a web dashboard without pulling in a heavy frontend stack. It avoids SvelteKit and build pipelines, making it suitable for a maintainable Alpine.js prototype that can later be hosted statically.

How It Works

The skill scaffolds an Alpine.js template, then uses fulcra-api to fetch user-configured annotations, RecordsProcessed, agent visibility data, and memory-file status. Raw data is stored as JSONL, while data.json maps the files to chart views. The approach requires visible section comments, state extracted with Alpine.data(), and optional splitting into index.html, app.js, and styles.css. Theming updates titles, icons, and CSS variables, and adds a themed image plus animation, while preserving the dashboard-bento-grid and sticky-column structure. It can then preview locally, initialize Git, and prepare GitHub Pages deployment.

Boundaries

This is not a general BI platform and does not generate complex aggregation scripts. It is better suited to personal annotations, agent tasks, and lightweight visualization. Fulcra API access should be confirmed first, and user_configured annotations should take priority. The Chat Envoy depends on a local Python service and is hidden on static deployments.

Use Cases

  • Engineers finishing Fulcra onboarding upgrade a static HTML preview into a local interactive dashboard wired to JSONL data.
  • Users visualizing custom annotations and RecordsProcessed choose user_configured data first and generate the data.json mapping.
  • Automation researchers showing agent tasks, current work, and memory status generate a themed page and enable the Agent Vault.
  • Front-end maintainers deploying to GitHub Pages initialize Git, publish the main branch, and confirm the Chat Envoy auto-hides.

Best For

  • Engineers who just finished Fulcra onboarding and want to upgrade a data preview into a local dashboard.
  • Automation researchers who need JSONL annotations and agent task metrics visualized for teammates.
  • Front-end engineers who prefer Alpine.js and vanilla CSS without a build pipeline.
  • Open-source contributors who want to publish a personal dashboard to GitHub Pages.
