About this skill

Problem addressed

When recommending funds, bank wealth products, or asset allocation, teams need a defensible way to classify an investor before discussing risk. Simply asking users whether they are conservative or aggressive is weak: it often confuses return expectations, loss tolerance, investment horizon, and available capital. risk-tolerance-test turns that judgment into a structured evaluation: a 12-question questionnaire covering age, investment experience, horizon, household income, investable savings ratio, return goals, loss tolerance, portfolio mix preference, and attitude toward high-risk assets. The result is mapped to five levels, R1 through R5.

How it works

The skill is not a market analytics engine. It provides a repeatable scoring and output template:
- Question collection: support either an interactive question-by-question flow or a single batch of all 12 questions.
- Uniform scoring: each question is scored from 1 to 5, producing a total in 12–60.
- Level mapping: totals map to R1 Conservative, R2 Steady, R3 Balanced, R4 Growth, and R5 Aggressive.
- Standard output: return the total score, level, risk tolerance, return expectation, a cash / bond / equity allocation range, two to three suitable product examples, and a one-line risk disclaimer.
- Compliance framing: state clearly that the result is informational only, not investment advice, and that formal suitability assessment should be completed through licensed financial institutions.

This is useful for customer-service agents, wealth-assistant builders, and content generation pipelines that need consistent investor profiling. For R1 or R2 results, it can also append a conservative product guidance line in a controlled format.

Use Cases

  • In wealth-service chat flows, collect 12 questionnaire answers and return an R1–R5 classification.
  • Before recommending hybrid funds or bond wealth products, output cash, bond, and equity allocation ranges from the total score.
  • Build an advisory assistant result page that shows score, level, suitable products, and risk notice.
  • For R1/R2 users, append a conservative product guidance line and an image reference.

Best For

  • Wealth-service agents: classify customer risk level and scope product recommendations in chat.
  • Advisory assistant developers: template questionnaire scoring and R1–R5 output rules.
  • Wealth content editors: generate standardized risk-assessment result copy.
  • Bank/fund channel operators: add compliance risk disclaimers for conservative clients.
