What It Addresses

Filebeat is usually deployed for log collection, but in real repositories it may need to be referenced repeatedly by scripts, CI jobs, templates, or GitHub workflows. Manually maintaining paths, arguments, output locations, or trigger steps can cause configuration drift. Based on the name and tags, Filebeat Wrap appears to be a lightweight wrapper around Filebeat, intended to make repeated operations more reusable.

Working Model and Boundaries

• Wrapper entry point: the wrap tag suggests it packages Filebeat calls or configuration into a more stable interface.
• Automation signal: the automation tag indicates a focus on scripted execution rather than one-off commands.
• GitHub relevance: the github tag suggests it may fit repository-based execution or collaboration workflows.

The current SKILL.md body only lists the name, version, and tags, without specifying commands, parameters, or output formats. Before using it in a production log pipeline, verify the actual entry files, configuration options, and default behavior. If your team already maintains a standardized Filebeat setup, avoid overriding critical collection policies with a generic wrapper.
