Problem

Moving data from Alibaba Cloud OSS to Tencent Cloud COS involves managing credentials across two clouds, inspecting buckets and objects, and configuring MSP migration tasks. Manual API calls can mix up SecretId, SecretKey, SrcBucket, DstBucket, filtering rules, storage classes, and speed limits, especially because the destination bucket usually needs to include the APPID.

How It Works

The skill guides the workflow through conversation: configure OSS and COS credentials, list buckets and objects to verify source and target resources, then create a single migration task or generate multiple tasks from an Excel file with the expected layout. It can show migration parameter defaults, task status, and basic progress, while masking sensitive credentials in displayed output and logs. Migration primarily uses Tencent MSP's fully managed mode, pulling data from OSS over the public internet into COS.

Limits and Notes

The current version is oriented toward one-off full migrations; later source changes require new tasks, and same-name file handling follows MSP defaults. Semi-managed Mode=1 requires ListerIp and EndPoint and is described as experimental. Credentials are stored in local files, so users must secure those files themselves.
