What It Solves

Arknights questions often mix stats, version meta, and account state in ways that make practical advice hard to extract: whether an operator is worth building, which skill to master, how to clear a difficult stage, or what a lore term means. This skill turns those questions into structured guidance with a conclusion first, supporting reasoning, usage limits, and fallback options that fit the player's roster and investment level.

How It Works

• Local profile first: before answering, it attempts to read a local Doctor profile using ARKNIGHTS_MEMORY_DIR, ~/.hermes/skills, ~/.config/arknights-skill, or the directory containing memory.py. If the profile is unavailable, it still answers normally without pretending to know the account.
• Decision-first answers: operator reviews, skill mastery, raise-or-skip calls, and stage strategies usually begin with a direct judgment, then explain why, when the choice applies, and what to invest in.
• Facts separated from evaluation: mechanics, class branches, terminology, and confirmed account facts can be stated directly; strength, meta standing, and banner value are qualified rather than presented as absolute truth.
• Freshness-aware version questions: questions about current strength, latest events, or new CN / JP / Global content trigger a live-access check when possible. If live data is unavailable, the answer states that the conclusion is not based on current version data.
• Post-answer memory updates: after responding, it extracts only explicit facts from the current turn, such as server, progress, operator levels, masteries, and modules. It does not store full conversations, raw screenshot OCR, unconfirmed inferences, guide advice, or official story text.

Boundaries

The skill only covers Arknights and does not handle other games, pull-rate calculations, real-time event schedules, login or payment issues, or customer service. It avoids inventing numbers, treating old meta as current, recommending copied squads without substitution logic, equating rarity with power, and making universal pull recommendations without considering roster gaps.
