About this skill

Problem

Writing a technical book or long-form document often breaks down between a one-sentence topic and a publishable manuscript: outlines keep collapsing, chapter tone drifts, figures feel detached from the prose, and review catches typos but misses structure. This skill turns book writing into a set of reusable Markdown prompts and templates, so the model can work through defined stages instead of starting from scratch each time.

How It Works

The core is ten bilingual prompt categories: book-concept, table-of-contents, outline, chapter-writing, writing-style, diagrams-visuals, review-polish, iterative-improvement, book-intro-conclusion, and publishing-prep. A typical flow starts with positioning prompts to clarify readers and value, then designs the table of contents and chapter outlines, writes chapters, and uses review prompts to check logic, tone, and consistency. The diagram side supports Mermaid flowcharts, sequence diagrams, and mind maps, plus Python-generated line, bar, scatter, and heatmap charts, with shared style configuration for visual consistency.

Boundaries

It is best for Markdown books, tutorials, technical manuals, and business books with clear structure. It is not a substitute for code-repo documentation automation or full publishing typesetting. Python charts require a local Python environment; prompts are customizable, but authors remain responsible for chapter judgment and factual accuracy.

Use Cases

  • Design a TOC and chapter outline for a technical tutorial.
  • Write chapters consistently and add Mermaid flowcharts.
  • Review manuscript grammar, logic, and terminology consistency.
  • Prepare publishing copy, cover description, and author bio.

Best For

  • Technical tutorial authors: turn topics into TOC, outlines, chapters.
  • Business book leads: unify copy tone and draft cover descriptions.
  • Data engineers: embed trend, comparison, and relation charts.
  • Editors: check grammar, logic, and consistency in long drafts.
