About this skill

Problem

A-share stock discussions often get stuck when there are many headlines but no clear thesis. Reading announcements, news, or research notes in isolation can turn stale items, sector noise, or repeated coverage into apparent catalysts. Without market-price context, it is also hard to tell whether an event has been priced in. This skill focuses on a specific stock and turns recent news into an assessable read.

How it works

It relies on the investoday-finance-data interface. After resolving the ticker with search, it fetches:
- stock/basic-info
- 30-day company, industry, macro, and market news
- 90-day research/sentiment and report/stock-forecast-ratings
- 30-day announcements
- stock-quote/realtime-merge

It then applies a five-step framework: core events, sentiment impact, institutional validation, market response, and overall judgment, producing a structured interpretation.

Boundaries

It is best for questions like “what happened recently, is it bullish or bearish, and have institutions and the market validated it?” If the focus is same-day price-movement attribution, prefer stock anomaly analysis. If the focus is institutional views, prefer research-report interpretation. The output does not expose internal scores and does not provide buy/sell, position-sizing, or target-price advice.

Use Cases

  • Review the last 30 days of news and announcements for an A-share stock to identify core events.
  • Evaluate whether a positive company update has been validated by research ratings and recent price action.
  • Organize a stock's news flow to distinguish short-term sentiment from mid-term fundamental changes.
  • Track event-driven logic to confirm whether the market has already priced in the development.

Best For

  • Investment researchers tracking A-share stock news and core events
  • Quant analysts focused on event-driven logic and market validation
  • Fundamental investors evaluating short-term catalysts and long-term risks
  • Financial engineers reviewing consistency across news, research, and prices
