About this skill

Problem It Solves

Securities news is fragmented across official media, finance accounts, and research-report slices. A plain search often returns titles from one channel, making it hard to separate policy, regulation, market sentiment, and company or industry research signals. This skill is useful when an engineer or analyst needs a narrower entry point for filtering news by column and date.

How It Works

It relies on DeepQ MCP Server and exposes several search paths: officialSecuNews targets authoritative sources such as Xinhua, People's Daily, CSRC, and exchanges; weMediaSecuNews targets finance bloggers and institutional public accounts; queryAllMediaSecuNews combines official and independent sources; querySecuritiesNews supports precise sliceColumn filtering, such as macro policy, industry news, individual stock research, and industry research. A typical workflow is to classify the request as policy/regulation, market sentiment, or research conclusion, choose the matching tool, and provide startDate, endDate, and a relevance threshold to avoid overly broad or overly sparse results.

Boundaries

It is suitable for news discovery and initial filtering, not full investment research, and it does not guarantee coverage of every unpublished or unindexed source. For rigorous conclusions, verify exchange announcements, regulator filings, or original reports. If dates are omitted, the default is today; higher relevance means stricter filtering, so lower the threshold when results are too few.

Use Cases

  • A regulatory analyst quickly finds CSRC and exchange statements on an industry before a briefing.
  • A fund manager compiles sector news, flash updates, and individual stock report slices before market open.
  • A risk reviewer retrieves a company's announcements, sentiment, and finance-account chatter by date range.
  • An industry analyst compares official policy coverage with independent sentiment on the same event.

Best For

  • Regulatory analysts tracking policy updates and exchange statements from official media.
  • Event-driven traders reviewing company announcements, sentiment, and finance-account chatter.
  • Industry researchers compiling morning briefs from news, flash updates, and report slices.
  • MCP integration engineers calling securities-news tools by `sliceColumn` and date range.
