About this skill

Problem

Social fatigue is hard to quantify. After a call, event, or group chat, you may feel drained but cannot tell whether you should rest immediately, limit further conversation, or simply decline optional interactions.

How It Works

social-energy-manager turns “social energy” into a structured status check. When the user says something like “socially exhausted,” “need to be alone,” or “recharge,” it produces a JSON assessment:

  • currentEnergyLevel: the current energy or stamina level
  • energyAssessment: includes score, color, status, and action for a quick decision about whether more social contact is reasonable
  • recoveryPlan: split into immediate, daily, and weekly actions
  • tips: supporting suggestions

The useful part is that it converts vague fatigue into an executable rule: when the score is low, prioritize immediate recovery; when it is moderate, adjust today’s boundaries; weekly items help prevent repeated depletion. It does not operate calendars or reject people automatically; it outputs status and suggestions for the user to decide on.

Boundaries

This skill is for life management and planning. It is not a clinical or psychological evaluation. If low energy persists with significant mood symptoms, seek professional support. Output depends on the user’s description, and overly vague input may only yield a surface-level score and action.

Use Cases

  • After a run of client calls, decide whether you can answer more messages tonight and list immediate recovery actions.
  • After a team event, choose to stay alone and set same-day boundaries based on a low-energy state.
  • After a heavy day of remote meetings, summarize remaining communication capacity and generate daily recovery tips.
  • After a social-ops peak, assess the week’s social load and schedule next week’s alone time.

Best For

  • Sales people with multiple client meetings daily who need to decide whether to keep following up.
  • Operations staff who respond to many group messages and need to turn fatigue into same-day communication limits.
  • Remote workers who want to schedule immediate rest after being active in work chats.
  • Event coordinators who need a recovery plan after on-site service.
