Family Memory Timeline

Problem

Family photos, chat logs, and short videos often sit scattered across devices. A date-sorted album shows timestamps, but not the story behind them. family-memory-timeline aims to organize such family materials into a reviewable timeline, not just a classified photo set. It is useful for turning fragments like a yearly trip or a baby’s first steps into narrative material.

How It Works

The skill works with a few input types: media can accept photo or video paths or objects; conversations accepts spoken or written family dialogue; config and projectName configure the story project. The main steps are:
- Photo sentiment classification: identify scenes, people, and mood to provide semantic context for the timeline.
- Conversation summarization: extract key facts and emotional points from family conversations.
- Timeline generation: build event order from timestamps and content relevance.
- Narrative writing: convert structured events into a coherent story.

Boundaries

The docs list JPG, PNG, and HEIC image support, with each file under 10MB; conversation input is capped at 5,000 characters; Chinese and English are supported; and the time range covers 1970 to the present. It uses simulated data and does not call real third-party APIs, so it is better suited for prototyping, narrative organization, and interface behavior checks than for final archival that depends on external recognition services.
