It turns vague trip intent into a day-by-day itinerary with transport, lodging, dining, and attraction details.

How it works

• Progressive intake: It first confirms required fields like holiday length, destination, and traveler count, then asks for budget, transport, lodging, food, accessibility, and other preferences in smaller steps.
• Holiday recognition: When users mention New Year, Spring Festival, Qingming, May Day, Dragon Boat, Mid-Autumn, National Day, annual leave, or school breaks, it uses references/chinese-holidays.md to infer holiday type, booking windows, peak crowds, and suitable destination types.
• Destination framing: It organizes local culture, history, must-see sights, popular photo spots, food, lodging, and cautions, optionally consulting references/destination-types.md.
• Itinerary output: It produces day-by-day entries with time blocks, activities, locations, expected duration, transport routes, ticket notes, and booking advice, using references/trip-template.md for consistent structure.
• Review and iteration: After output, it asks whether to adjust pacing, swap sights, or change duration, and can provide a Plan B fallback.

Boundaries

It is best for Chinese-language holiday trip drafting, especially when vague preferences need to be converted into a workable schedule. It does not replace real-time ticketing, hotel inventory, visa documentation, or local regulatory information. Users should reconfirm flight times, ticket availability, opening hours, and popular-restaurant queues before travel, and note uncertainty around prices, crowds, weather, and service policies.
