Douyin hot content is scattered across many videos, and manually identifying yesterday's top performers can miss niche categories and engagement patterns. This skill is aimed at content ideation, competitor observation, and trend review, turning “which works had the most likes yesterday” into a queryable ranking.
How it works and limits
The skill calls the redfox.hk like-ranking API using X-API-KEY authentication. It sends a fixed source parameter and can filter by type, startTime, and endTime. Data refreshes daily at 06:00 for the previous day, with up to 30 days of history. If a user asks for “today” or a future date, it responds that the latest data is yesterday's and returns the previous-day ranking. By default, it queries all categories and shows TOP20; when explicitly requested, it returns TOP50. Results are rendered as a Markdown table, with titles rendered as clickable links using video_title and workUrl, alongside author, follower count, collects, comments, shares, likes, and publish time. It is useful for daily trend monitoring, category selection, and historical comparison, but not for real-time ranking, future prediction, or non-like metrics.
