About this skill

Problem

Corporate press releases often fail before drafting: scattered source material, unclear story types, inconsistent company voice, and repeated formatting rework. This skill is for editors, marketing staff, and internal communicators who need a repeatable process for producing compliant company news copy.

How It Works

  • Configure first: On first use, it captures company name, signature format, topic system, layout rules, publishing platform, and terminology preferences, then stores them for later runs to keep company style consistent.
  • Collect inputs by story type: It classifies requests into training briefs, sales war reports, meeting releases, event recaps, corporate responsibility posts, and leadership research reports, then gathers the relevant fields such as date, location, participants, data, agenda, and outcomes.
  • Draft with constrained structure: The generated copy follows inverted pyramid order, a 5W1H lead, third-person narration, short sentences, and story-specific tone, such as data-led leads for sales reports and restrained wording for meeting or leadership releases.
  • Self-check before output: It reviews lead completeness, paragraph length, data sourcing, title format, signature line, leadership names and titles, prohibited advertising terms, and target word count before returning the draft.

Boundaries

It is best for OA intranet posts, company public-account posts, internal briefs, event recaps, and revision of existing drafts. Where formal company protocols, legal review, regulated disclosures, or executive speech accuracy matter, human review remains required.

Use Cases

  • A marketing specialist turns event photos, attendance, and agenda notes into an event recap.
  • A sales lead packages launch, contract, and lead data into an 800-1200-word war report.
  • An admin editor organizes meeting time, attendees, and resolutions into a formal meeting release.
  • A training manager provides course modules, learner count, and results to produce a training brief.

Best For

  • Corporate marketing editors who need to turn event, project, and training materials into OA-ready news drafts.
  • Sales or project leads who need to package launch, contract, and lead data into data-driven reports.
  • Admin assistants or executive assistants who need formal meeting and leadership research releases with accurate titles.
  • Training managers who need to convert courses, learners, and assessment results into concise training briefs.
