Problem This Skill Addresses

Many WeChat Official Accounts articles need cleanup before publishing. Content copied from web pages, local files, chat logs, OCR text, or raw HTML often contains broken line breaks, navigation residue, ads, and unpredictable structure. Applying a theme directly can produce messy headings, deep list nesting, unusable images, broken inline styles, or failed publishing.

How It Works

The skill breaks article processing into auditable steps:
- Acquire the article body: accept pasted text, a local file, or an article URL, and extract the body and metadata when possible.
- Normalize Markdown: use scripts/normalize_to_markdown.py to create clear headings, paragraphs, lists, quotes, and emphasis while preserving meaning without silently changing facts or arguments.
- Choose a theme: read the built-in theme catalog, show real theme id, name, and short style notes; if no theme is specified, recommend only 3 to 5 available themes from the built-in catalog.
- Render and publish: use scripts/render_wechat_html.py --theme to generate WeChat-compatible HTML; when WeChat credentials, upload capability, and publishing prerequisites are ready, use scripts/publish_wechat.py to publish a draft or formal post.

Boundaries

The skill does not promise unlisted themes or complex custom layouts. Markdown is the editable master: revise Markdown first, then regenerate themed output. If publishing prerequisites are missing, it should stop at the failing step and report the missing credential, capability, or network condition precisely, rather than outputting a vague success message.
